Bill Fettis joined IPA as a partner in 1990, bringing considerable experience in corporate management and financial analysis. He is both a licensed Realtor and a Certified Public Accountant and has more than 23 years of real estate development and property management experience.
Having served as CFO and General Manager of a prominent office furniture company with more than $100M in revenues and 1,000 employees, Bill has an extensive background in financial analysis and corporate management in addition to more than 23 years of real estate development experience. He is both a licensed Realtor and a Certified Public Accountant.
Together with his partners, Bill has been responsible for the overall planning and development of a variety of real estate projects with an emphasis on large-scale multi-family apartment and student housing communities, multi-tenant office and medical office projects. He directs projects from concept to completion including feasibility analysis, land acquisition, financing, government approvals, site design, project design, and the oversight of construction management, lease up, and property management.
In 1993, Bill co-founded IPA Management as a separate entity to oversee IPA's growing number of properties. Bill advises and leads more than 120 team members of IPA and IPA Management in day-to-day operations.
Bill has held leadership roles in various community endeavors. He is a member and past president of the Grand Haven Rotary Club, has served on the Business Advisory Board for Grand Bank, and has served on the Norton Shores Economic Development Committee. He also participates in community development projects in Honduras. Additionally, he founded a teen mentoring program and leads missions and men's ministry committees. Bill has been honored by Rotary International as the recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award.
He and his wife have one daughter, and they enjoy homes in Grand Haven, Michigan and Scottsdale, Arizona.
