Patrick Gaughan has extensive experience in private equity and corporate finance specializing in raising non-bank capital for corporate growth and mergers. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
In addition to being a partner in IPA, Patrick serves as CFO and partner of Brooks Capital Management.
Patrick has an extensive background in private debt and equity capital placements for middle market companies. He was advisor to real estate, media, and bottling companies throughout his career at The Northern Trust Company, First Chicago, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers specializing in raising non-bank capital for corporate growth and mergers. Prior to his Chicago corporate finance career, Patrick worked for Arthur Andersen's tax group in Denver specializing in cable TV companies.
Patrick serves on the board of directors of Grand Angels and the shareholder advisory board to a Florida-based multi-bank holding company. He is on the investment committees of The Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area and Kent Community Health Foundation.
He and his wife have three children and two grandchildren.
